Adding a Network Printer

Network printers can be added by staff or students in Windows 2000 and XP (directions below). Some printers are restricted to only certain users, while most are available to anyone who logs into our network. Printers that are restricted are not listed. If you would like to use a restricted printer, email Sonja Gonzalez. Each printer has a label on it with the printer's name.

Printers were located to allow everyone easy access to printers. If you feel that you do not have this, please talk to Sonja. If a printer is in a classroom, please be aware of that teacher's schedule and try to work with them to prevent interrupting their class.

Please note: If you install a printer using these directions, it is only available to you, not anyone else who logs into the same computer unless they also install it.
