This is my little family. My mom, Liberty our dog, Phinie our "Princess Kitty" and the love of my life, Kent!
I have been a teacher, well this is my ninth year. I have been specializing in Special Education in the Elementary Schools. This past May I graduated Rivier College with my Masters in Learning Disabilites. This was a huge accomplishment for me. Yahoo! This year I am the Literacy Coach for first grade. I enjoy working in all first grade classrooms! I am working with students who need a little extra practice! It is so wonderful I am working with ALL students in the first grade. What my position is, I take a look at a "Snap Shot" of how all the first grade students are doing in Literacy. I work with children in reading and tailor to their strengths and practice their weaknesses! This year this position is something new to our district. I really enjoy working with all the first graders and especially with a fantastic team!
