"TAPPING WORDS"

*** These are words that you can "TAP" out. Read a few of these words and tap out each sound. Talk to your child about what is the beginning sound, middle sound and ending sound. Really stear away from using the actual letter name when tapping out the word. Use the sound of the letter. The only time that you actually lable the letter name is when you actually spell the word or writing the word. (as of 12/05)
