Elementary School Happenings
The Fisher Cats Reading Challenge has returned to Ellis and was explained to elementary students in an assembly on Friday, December 14, 2007. This reading program challenges students to read 5 books outside of the regular school curriculum. Once they finish, students will fill out the form distributed by the Fisher Cats, have their parents sign the waiver form, and mail it to the team. In return, students will earn two tickets to one of the Reading Nights at the park. The team will hold a pre-game ceremony on the field to honor the students for their accomplishment. Then the students and their guests can enjoy an exciting night of Fisher Cats baseball!
