Middle school vision 
The staff and School Board have adopted the following as our Vision Statement and Goals for the Ellis Middle School program. Our new Leadership Council will be providing the direction as we move toward making the vision a reality.

A student who leaves Ellis School will have the skills and knowledge to be:
- An intellectually reflective person.
- A person en route to a lifetime of meaningful work.
- A good citizen.
- A caring and ethical individual.
- A healthy person.

Ellis Middle School Vision:
- Educators who value working with this age group and are prepared to do so.
- Courageous, collaborative leadership.
- A shared vision that guides decisions.
- An inviting, supportive, and safe environment.
- High expectations for every member of the learning community.
- Students and teachers engaged in active learning.
- An adult advocate for every student.
- School-initiated family and community partnerships.
