Class rules and consequences

Rules and Consequences for 4C Students & Mr. Connor

Rules

1. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.

2. Change tasks quickly and quietly.

3. Use the cards to help communicate with Mr. Connor.

4. Follow directions the first time they are given.

5. Be polite and respectful of your classmates.

6. Follow the procedures given.

7. Always work towards success!

Negative Consequences (penalties)

1. Warning with name on board

2. Lose 5 minutes PAT

3. Lose 10 minute PAT and write a plan

4. Lose whole PAT and letter home to parent

5. Lose recess and sent to office, parents called

6. These steps may be skipped due to severity of problem behavior

7. Other penalties, such as moving a desk, may be necessary on occasion

Positive Consequences (rewards)

1. Public Recognition

3. Positive notes and Letters home

4. Student requests for fun moments

5. PBIS tokens

Mr. Connor’s Rules

1. Obey all student rules as much as possible

2. Make class work as enjoyable as possible

3. Provide a safe and orderly classroom and 4th grade experience

2. Stay later after work

3. Phone call to home
