About Mrs. kane

Welcome to 7th Grade Mathematics with Mrs. Kane! Here is some information about me that I hope you find helpful.
I graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1997 with a B.S. in Mathematics Education and a Middle School/Jr. High concentration. I continued at UNH, getting a Masters in Education in 1998. While working on my Master’s degree I completed a year-long internship at Dover Middle School, co-teaching in both the sixth and eighth grades. Having a degree and experience in the specialty I teach makes me “Highly Qualified” under the No Child Left Behind Law.
I started here at the Ellis School in the fall of 1998 – my first job out of college! Beginning at a smaller community school allowed me a wonderful, friendly, safe place to grow as a teacher. I have enjoyed being a part of the positive changes the Ellis School has experienced over the last 10+ years and hope to continue to bring quality education to the students of Fremont for years to come.
I currently live in Strafford, NH with my husband, two young sons, two cats, and a dog.
