7TH Grade Social Studies News
In Social Studies, in the seventh grade, they are doing a newscast. The newscast must include international, national, state, town, and school news. It must also include either weather or sports, and an editorial. There are about four to a group and about twelve newscast groups. Each person has approximately two jobs.
We are now rehearsing to get a feel for what it will be like to present it. We will be recording in about two weeks. One newscast from each of he three classes will be shown at a community meeting. We have just read chapter 16 in our Civics in Practice, which was about citizenship and the Law. There will be a test on that soon.
