A Glimpse into the life of Mrs. DiBurro

I grew up in Windham, NH and went to Pinkerton Academy in Derry.  After High School, I didn't really know what I wanted to be when I grew up. Somehow I got the idea in my head that it might be fun to volunteer at the middle school in the town where I lived at the time.  It didn't take me very long to realize there was an opportunity for me to make a difference, earn a few dollars, and have a great time, all in one! After receiving my Bachelor's degree in English and my Master's degree in Education at UNH, I taught at West Running Brook Middle School in Derry for 6 years.  After the birth of my second son, I took a year off, and when I returned to education, I found the perfect opportunity in Fremont.  Ellis reminds me a lot of the small town I grew up in; though we had two schools at the time, instead of one, the idea was the same - a very close knit community where the teachers and every one else knew your name.

When many of the people in my generation are questioning their career choices and pursuing new paths, I know with 100% of my heart and mind that I am in the right job!  I truly love "my" kids and I wouldn't give it up - even if I won a million dollars tomorrow.  (No, I'm not just saying that.)

When I'm not at school, I'm a mom to two great boys.  On the left is Nicky, just back from water skiing.  On the right is Corey, who loves to play with his uncle's fire truck .   Below is a picture of my husband on his way back from collecting eggs in the chicken coop.  (Yes, we have chickens, and if you look close you can also see Daisy, our Cocker Spaniel.)
