What You Need to Succeed

First and foremost, students must be prepared, responsible and respectful

They need to have a positive attitude.  If students come with these, the rest will fall in to place!

Snack Guidlines

Students may snack at any time during the day, provided it does not interfere with their ability to do their work.  All snack choices should be healthy.  Snacks high in sugar and fat are not recommended.

Students may carry water with them during the day.  Juice, milk, and Gatorade should be saved for their lunch.

Gum chewing is allowed in most areas, as long as it is done appropriately.

Cell Phone Use

Cell phone are allowed for the purpose of student-parent communication, however, students should not carry their phone on their person.  Students may have their cell phones in their lockers, off or on "vibrate" mode.  We are encouraging all students who do this to have a lock on their locker at all times.  Should it come to a teacher's atention that a student has a cell phone on thier person, or is using it for purposes other than intended, the teacher may confiscate the phone and request that the parent pick it up from the office.

Headphone Use

CD players and MP3 players may be used with headphones when in a classroom with a teacher's permission.  This is for extended independent work periods or other times designated by teachers.  Music must be school appropriate and students may only use their own players and music. Inappropriate usage will result in a loss of priveldges.
