Ellis School art classes
Welcome!
Art education is basic to enriching students' lives by developing creativity, critical thinking, self expression and cultural awareness. Art was the first form of communication. Art finds its way into all cultures. It is diverse yet it is the same. It is a result of needing to express oneself. Here at Ellis School we provide an avenue for students to be able to express themselves and connect with their peers through personal growth and cooperative learning experiences. We have developed a sequential and qualitative approach to the art making process that complies with State and National Standards.
Ellis School won third place at the Deerfield fair!
