Special Education

Dear Fremont Parents and Guardians,

My name is Robert Qua, and I have the honor of being the new Director of Special Services for SAU #83. I am extremely excited to work with you to ensure that your students receive the best possible educational experience. This will be my fourth year as an administrator and my thirteenth year in special education overall. I have worked in multiple roles in districts large and small, and I am very excited to bring my experience and enthusiasm to bear to ensure that your students have every opportunity to reach their maximum potential.

My first and most pressing priority is to work with the Ellis administrative team to ensure that our special educators and related service professionals are put in the best position possible to work with students, providing interventions and specialized instruction that yield positive results.

I can already tell that we have an extremely talented and motivated team, and their time will best be spent with the kids. We are already working to set them and your children up for success.

Special education is a world of rules and procedures and paperwork. It is sometimes easy to lose sight of the most important facet: student achievement. I will work hard every day to ensure that our students are our first priority, and that they receive the best and most meaningful education to which they are entitled.
