The Fremont Police Department will be conducting training and drills at Ellis School today. If you see an increased presence of first responders on campus throughout the day, there is no need for concern.
On March 12th, the citizens of Fremont will be voting on Warrant Article 6 which, if passed, would allow the SAU 83 School Board to enter into tuition agreements with both Epping High School and Pinkerton Academy. Students entering high school in the fall of 2026 would have a choice of either of the two schools as their high school. Please see the attached flyer for an upcoming open house to introduce Fremont families to Epping High School.

UA night is only SIX days away! The UA team invites our FOURTH GRADERS to perform with their recorders at 5:45pm in the gym. They also invite our KINDERGARTEN, FIRST and SECOND GRADERS to perform their folk dances at 6:00pm in the gym!
At January's Community Meeting our learners in Mrs South and Mrs Lennon's classes invited our school community to make Valentines for our neighbors at Colonial Poplin Nursing Hone. Today, those first graders delivered over a hundred handmade Valentines and lots of joy to the residents!
Former Ellis School parents and volunteer extraordinaires, Jenn and Doug Brown stopped by the CARE Squad today with two lovely residents from a nearby assisted living community to deliver the most adorable Valentine's Day snack packs and some BIG smiles.

Congratulations to our middle school basketball teams on a great season! We loved seeing your teamwork, dedication, effort and commitment on and off the court!
If you thought the 100th day was exciting, wait until we tell you that our fifth graders celebrated their 1,000th day of school that same day! They celebrated by counting 1,000 kernels of popcorn to have for a snack and made a paper chain 1,000 links long!
Yesterday afternoon, our full faculty and staff attended a two hour presentation by Connor's Climb that was centered around School Connectedness. Connor's Climb provides suicide prevention education by raising awareness, reducing stigma, and equipping youth, educators, and the community at large with tools and resources focused on school aged children. We are grateful for this important training.
