Yesterday, our fourth graders in Mrs. Gauthier and Ms. Georato's classrooms took a trip to Concord to visit the State House. Not only were they escorted through their tour by Representative Yokela, Governor Sununu paused his cabinet meeting to introduce himself and shake hands with each and every fourth grader. A field trip to remember!

Learners in Mrs. Gobeil's classroom have been following the Iditarod throughout the month of March. Last Friday they welcomed town resident and Alaska expert, Mr. Townsend to share photographs, taxidermy and a wealth of information! As always, his great bear rug was the best part of the presentation! Thank you for always making time for our third graders, Mr. Townsend.

In between CPR training, literacy data analysis, standards and competency alignment, rubric building and several other tasks, our educators came together to enjoy a pot luck luncheon. It was the perfect opportunity to reconnect over platefuls of delicious dishes. Thank you for all of your hard work today, Ellis Educators!
